Welcome to the third Australian Sacred Harp Convention!

The Sacred Harp, first published in 1844, is a rich collection of shape note folk hymns from the 1770s to the present day. The music is loud, participatory, acapella, sung in four-part harmony.

The three day Convention will gather people together in traditions of community, friendship, reflection, food and song. We’ll be welcoming people from all over Australia and overseas.

People of all faiths, and no faith, and singers of all abilities are welcome. Donations will be collected to cover costs. Sacred Harp books available for loan or purchase.
