Welcome to the fourth Australian Sacred Harp Convention!
The four-day Convention will gather people together in traditions of community, friendship, reflection, food and song. We welcome people from all over Australia and overseas. People of all faiths, and no faith, and singers of all abilities are welcome.
We’ll be singing in the 1870 Gerringong Wesleyan Methodist Church, located within the Chittick Lodge Uniting Church camp at the charming seaside town of Gerringong, two hours drive from Sydney. Dormitory accommodation is available on-site for singers and their families. Local singers or people wishing to book their own local accommodation are welcome to attend all activities.
For the entire Australia Day long weekend singers will have the Chittick Lodge camp to ourselves. There is plenty of space to socialise, spend some alone time, hang out, play games, and have a cup of tea. Our program has been designed to allow plenty of time for informal singing and non-singing fun, as well as lots of singing!
